Description
- Origin: Fresh from origin in the Gurande region of Brittany, France.
- Harvesting: Harvested using sustainable methods developed by monks in 945 AD.
- Sustainability: Sea salts are harvested with deference to tradition and with a strong sense of stewardship for the ecosystem of the marsh surrounding the tidal pools.
- Process: The sea salts do not undergo any form of washing or chemical treatments. It is sieved to remove as many impurities as possible, this is a completely natural product.
- Contents: The salt is devoid of additives, it contains none of the anti-caking agents, iodine, fluorine, or nitrites found commercial salts.
- Drying and milling: French grey salt, fine grain is dried after harvesting and milled fine for use as table salt.
- Attributes: Mineral-rich, briny flavor, and light grey in hue (although less so for fine grain version).
- Use: Substitute your table salt for this mineral rich alternative. Add before, during, or after cooking.
- NOTE: This French Grey salt has been DRIED. This is a major difference from many salt sellers' grey salt product. This extra step allows for use in salt shakers!
